· Set up and operate precision small to medium hobbers and shapers.
· Run and measure gears to AGMA 9- AGMA 13.
· Machines include Mikrons, Barber Coleman, Pfauder, Fellows, CNC Bourne & Koch.
Qualifications for Gear Cutter Position:
· 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS GEAR CUTTER SETUP AND OPERATOR
· Capable of precision conventional hobber and shaper setup.
· Able to optimize setups and troubleshoot problems.
· Must understand gear inspection.
· Must know how to set-up and operate a CNC gear hobber or be capable and willing to learn.
· Must be able to operate multiple machines and be capable of handling both single part and production jobs.
Gear position offers advancement to lead position, commensurate with ability.
